A combination of two sculptures, two concrete cow heads, lie on the floor facing down, imposing a rebellion against their exploitation, seeking rest in the darkness that is created between the ground and their eyes.
The work translates into an allegory of life awaiting death, finding meaning in the will of individual pieces that objectify and personify animals and their request to pass time only to become matter. They are, in essence, what they are: fragments of matter seeking a unique continuity in the process of formation and subsequent dissolution post-death.
This exploration seeks to imitate the latent essence of nature, encompassing humans, animals, and places. It manifests through forms that represent the world we live in, often utilizing the same components, materials, and objects from industrial production.
