“The Visions” is a series of frames from Acciardi's installation “Nocturnal Visions” documenting an invisible wildlife ecosystem in Riyadh using night vision cameras. These low-light portraits of elusive nocturnal wildlife highlight the vanishing natural spaces within urban environments, questioning our neglect of nature amid rapid human development.

The installation uses night vision technology to capture unexpected wildlife across Riyadh, revealing their hidden presence in the city. Foxes on canyon outskirts, cats in undeveloped plots, and dogs on highways are showcased, illuminating what we miss in our lives due to urban light pollution.

“The Visions” sheds light on our dim perception of nature, documenting the resilience of wildlife in urban shadows and the fragile line between the natural and human-made. It offers a remote conceptual landscape within the urban jungle, revealing knowledge and brightness in the darkness of night.
